Reminds me of when Mass Effect 1 came out and the devs said you couldn't romance Kaiden as male Shepard because they wrote him to be straight, only for them to throw that out in 3.

After playing this and Yotei, I think I can say Sony's narrative team is the worst part of their games. I had the most fun with Spidery and Yotei when I was just left to my own devices and actively dreaded having to interact with the characters and story.

Depends on how easy it is to even mod the remasters in the first place. Something that doesn't get talked about a lot is how much the modding scene for Bethesda's games was supported by tools made available by the devs, and Starfield has fewer mods because Bethesda provided much less support for it.
