my wife and i have started amassing physical media again. VHS and DVD's. we never purged our old libraries, we just stopped adding to them once netflix and its ilk became prominent. some blurays of old anime are kinda fucked visually; dvd has better quality on some titles, somehow. streaming sucks

I love lichens especially. I had no idea their variety, i always though they were only like the flat leafy type or the spotty type, had no idea they could have so much different physical expression. Algae and fungi, who knew? Fungi are weird enough!

I'm like that when i want to play my retro stuff... soo many games to suck at but still try once in a while... and because its all physical i have to go hook up all the stuff, so it better be worth the game or the console i bothered to hook up

Chimchampion is an evolution of Chimcha, which was my first ever pokemon character's name, from D/P/4th gen. I was going for Chimchar but 7 char limit, so chimcha it was, and i kinda loved it since. Now, Chimcha, or it's 'mpion variant, i use in almost every first save file.
