It’s easily explained, you go to bed and you can’t sleep because you’ve already had a few hours on the sofa, oh and you also have a sore neck from lying awkward that helps massively.

Yeah, would worry more about the players taking it easy, going half hearted into a tackle as worried about missing Madrid game. But again our lads have played Madrid 6000 times at this stage, so probably sick of the sight of them

You would hope Slot is on them massively when they return from internationals. If we conspired to lose, you are going into the games against City and Madrid on a downer , a win and you go in full of confidence and who knows what we could do then?
