A stark reminder that we live in a multi tier society by design. Pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, renters, etc... All treated as lower class. Every day is deliberately oppressive.

No one talks about how nice it is to live in a city of 3 million people where nothing ever changes and we all live a 1950s fantasy 🥰.

I have also been thinking about this in the last few weeks. I don't have a conclusion, but every time I am out walking it occupies my mind.

First 2 taken at 12:54pm and 12:55pm next 6 taken between 1:06pm and 1:09pm. A few almost stopped by the time they were mid-way through the cross walk. Didn't film all the cars I saw but I didn't see a single car stop. Worth noting there is a kids camp a few hundred meters away...

If neighbours are scared of noise and outdoor food or whatever other inane thing, we should simple propose banning it entirely for neighbourhoods. No private backyard bbqs, no parties, no music. Children playing in your private pool? ban 'em. The noise might upset me 😱. /s
