I went to see “Bugonia” at the Belcourt Theatre continuing my vacation of killing time in Nashville.

In 1968 a new second screen made it the first twin cinema in Tennessee. By 1999 the Belcourt was in disrepair and struggling to find purpose. Because developers threatened to raze the building. community members formed a nonprofit organization, which is still operative as of 2024, to save the Belcourt Theatre. Wednesday was our last day in Burlington and we did some shopping. We went to the UVM bookstore, a curiosity shop on Church St., a used book store called Speaking Volumes, and Earth Prime Comics. Yes, there exists a cozy Bernie Sanders mystery.
