I use my Volvo-designed/Chinese built Polestar to go to the restaurant in a snow "event" when other drivers do not dare go out. Many Polestar owners discuss snow tires and how to best set them up on these high performing cars in online forums. #Polestar

One of my favorite relaxation/invigoration albums from the 1960's. Several of the song lyrics seem oddly appropriate for these times as well. Listen to the mono version for a real treat and less reverb.

Groundhog Day is tomorrow so I revisited the 1993 Bill Murray film of the same name and had insights on the US political situation. Danny Rubin and Harold Ramis have talked about selfless acts that their lead character "Phil" uses to escape being trapped in the same day for years. We can do this.

Quite happy with a refurbished Tascam cassette player found on eBay. Here it is sending music selected in 1993 for birthing our daughter to a digital file on the Zoom H4N. Then the file is ingested into the VinylStudio software for track ID and a bit of cleanup. The Tascam handles old media!

Oddly enough, her Wikipedia entry says it is a post-COVID infection and attributes Sports Illustrated.

We have been using the Weatherflow Tempest since November 2020 but recently Google "deprecated" the service that allow us to ask for temperature/weather. I switched to Alexa which still supports it (easier to set up too). Should it fall on the manufacturer to fix this kind of issue?
