Since FIFA created their own resale platform, know that they’ll reap an additional 10-15 percent of the sale amount for tickets resold. So they’re incentivized to have as many sales and resales and resales… all going into their coffers

This is so real… as a supporter living in Chicago I had dreamed of roadtripping to see some group games and taking my family (wife and 3 school age kids). Absolutely impossible due to the staggering prices. The sickening part is Trump and Gianni’s boasting of “record ticket sales”.. good for you!

No he really didn’t. What boggles my mind is that neither he nor the event organizers thought it a good idea to do a walkthrough or rehearsal, or just… “hey Wayne, let’s hear you read the countries out loud”. Comical.

Please make it so Philippe. Watching that spectacle made us feel pretty gross... especially the sheer brown-nosed lowliness of Gianni‘s invented peace prize to Trump and the many especially cringeworthy moments during the draw (people from North MaKadonia and CaraKow must be especially peeved)

Do you think the Portuguese players were so happy and relieved to be freed from Ronaldo that they scored 9 goals? They seemed determined to prove a point that they might actually be a better collective without the person that consumes all the oxygen in the dressing room?

Regarding Luis Rubiales having eggs thrown at him by his uncle at his book launch given any inspiration for our pod panelists? Perhaps this could be introduced as a fun feature at an upcoming live show? Or at Wilson’s next book launch?

Does Ronaldo’s red card finally give Martinez the excuse he’s been looking for to exclude him from the World Cup? Especially if he receives a red-card ban and they qualify automatically, carrying over his suspension to the WC
