Work in Progress: rebuilding this website on Astro
I intended to share this when I was done with it, but reasons got me to push it to my public repo and I wanted to write something about it anyways lol

been working on re-setting up my website on astro instead of 11ty this weekend. So far, it's going fine, but every now and then I go down in a rabbit hole learning more about how to call certain JS? TS? things 😅

I was hoping I'd get it out sooner than later, but the limit is me and my skills 🙈

i know this from using obsidian to format my blog posts XD it's a bit wonky to view in the editor but so long as HTML does it well, I won't mind this 😁
devious little fucken. lifehack for you. if you’re writing an ordered list in Markdown, you can use 1. to start every line, and HTML will automatically do the counting for you. this way you don't have to keep track of what number goes where as the list grows or changes :) stay frosty

learned that Bento(dot)me is sunsetting soon, so I prepped a bit by removing the links I had to my Bento page on my website.

wow, installing astro and setting it up has a neat starting sequence in the terminal!

Just a thought: I wonder if external links should open in a new tab or if it should just open in the same tab (so you could "go back" with the Back button) 🤔

With the latest post I have on my website, after testing it on my own, I realize I should have a way for people to "zoom in" or open the image in full width (aside from also having more control in "positioning" alignment of images, which is a different thing altogether)

This post got way longer than I initially intended it to be, but at least now it's up. 😆 Laid out how I set up my Linux cursor theme to be Gold Ship, from a cursor set made by @pixloen.bsky.social 😁

Gold Ship now lives in my Linux machine as a cursor
In this post, I share my experience of learning how Linux cursors are set up—at least in a GTK? context—and how I set up the Gold Ship cursor pack to work in Linux.

Gonna spend the day fixing my webmentions and any other ways to comment or respond to posts on my blog.

I apparently might have bricked my webmentions setup form other website updates... I don't know what I'm doing half the time so this is kinda expected 🙈 here's hoping I fix it lol
