I'm starting with araneablack's Sylvia corset pattern. Lots of adjustment to be done, but I'm starting with a mockup and I'll mark any top/bottom adjustments on that, so I can see what aligns nicely on my body. I'm giving myself 1" of seam allowance to play with because I don't trust myself :')

Ok the neckerchief is boring so no pics but headpiece! Kinda wish I ruffled it more but I'm not that pressed, it also ruffles a bit more when worn
Now just to paint the whisk and she's done :) It's been years since I did a project this simple, it was nice to do something cute, fun, and low effort

This lace is so cute; I have a few yards left over, so hopefully I can find a fun project to use it all with! If I have time this year, I'd love to make myself a dress to use it on maybe?

Apron first! I marked the placement for all the buttonholes that the ribbon will thread through. There are a few I'll tweak, but with the curve of the apron I think it'll be ok. Idk, I just had a freak out thinking I broke the buttonhole function on my machine so I'm just happy it's working ok again

I picked up some linen to give the apron a cute texture, along with some eyelet lace and satin ribbon for the headpiece and threading through the apron. Time to get to work!

Ok! Nothing fancy and far from perfect, but it is. a wig. I don't trust myself enough to touch it more; I trimmed it and added the side pony and, given my lack of skill with wigs, it's passable.

The black top is almost done; just hand sewing the binding in place over the scuba now. The little ponytail wrap is done too; it's just batting with jersey wrapped around it and some wefts glued to the end. Next up, finishing the pants and wig, then I turn off my brain until the end of the year.

Working on the leg wrap... things? I just dyed some thin cotton knit fabric and sewed little socks out of it, then cut a bunch of strips, fused them to a stretch fusible web, and am fusing that to the socks. Idk anymore lol, I'm kinda a mess rn
Also I finished the back ribbons but no pics bc idk
