I feel that I don't know Amanda enough for a proper answer.

I love the way she spreads positivity and how comfortable she makes me feel to explore my more flirtatious side with both her and you!

She is so beautiful and it makes me happy whenever I see her posts or her interacting with my posts!

I'm not feeling very good. My master thesis is progressing at a glacial rate and I am sleeping away every day in a depressed manner. This was not how this semester was supposed to go😭. I feel worthless

for those who wanted cool hat on gock
an artwork by Spindle of the characters Lyn, a trans fox woman with light blue hair wearing a pink tie, and a lightblue/pink top hat on her penis, and the same colour tie. Next to her is Therese, an elf trans woman, sitting and laughing at the gock in a hat

I need to finish reading this book, I can't post about it in case Nomi sees but I'm looking forward to talking about it with her afterwards, but it takes everything to not send her excerpts almost every chapter

Even if what I and Naomi have is different and closer to monogamy than whats described in this novel.

At the same time I'll probably end up reading more theory in addition to novels 😹 My vocabulary isn't there yet
CHAPTER 24

Mel assumed that being polyamorous, like anything else in the world, could be mastered through careful study.

She had studied her way to better bartending jobs, after all. Those long nights spent with old cocktail recipe books and self-quizzes had paid off. It was simply a matter of retaining informa-tion and ensuring she could put it into practice.

But a couple of weeks after Mel returned home from the ski trip with Kade, her self-education was not going well. She'd ordered about five different books-used, of course; thank you, Al Gore's internet-filled with advice on poly relationships, but she couldn't make heads or tails of them. They all seemed to have different theories about how a poly person should approach their poly-ness, one book contradicting an-other. Sometimes the contradiction was the whole point, an entire tome written in response to someone else's, written years earlier. The authors seemed to be talking among themselves, and Mel felt a little left out.

Triple Sec - T.J. Alexander

The first poly romance novel I have read but probably not the last (If I can find more that are primarily sapphic)

It was good it was fun and I think this type of book is part of what will make me more comfortable with the type of relationship structure I'm involved in

Okay, I had to post this and it is on another theme so probably okay
Rita turned to Kade, her smile incandescent. "And for you, sir?"
"I'm not a 'sir,'" Kade said. Their voice was tight, like they were trying to hold themself in check.
"I'm sorry." Rita passed her eyes over Kade, taking in their Ferragamo outfit. "Pardon ne. Ma'am?"
"I'm not a 'ma'am.'" Mel could see Kade's nostrils flare. "And I'll have a gin and tonic."
"Oh!" Rita seemed completely off-track now, mouth opening and closing. "I didn't — I thought only women were nonbinary."

gock gang but with cool hats edition
An artwork by spindle, the 4th entry in the "gock gang" series, showing 3 trans women characters. From left to right:
- Petra, a red-panda woman with a black hat and brown boots (with a gold accent on both). Petra's a tinkersmith and works on the currently expanding steam train engine in the setting (alongside many other characters I've drawn before, she works with Nettle, the owlfolk lady from a previous gock gang art)

- Pyxis, a half-elf woman with light blonde, very poofy hair. She's wearing a frog-shaped hat and bunny-shaped flats. Pyxis is a herbalist fortune teller, sister of Ameline (from a previous gock gang art as well). Bookworm, or at least pretends to be, she just collects many books and "yeah i'll get to reading them. Eventually."

- Noémie, a human with green hair tied up into a bun, with 3 circular hair loopies. (don't question hair physics in my setting lmao). She's wearing a red mushroom-shaped hat with a lil green sprout on top (I FUCKING WANT IT IRL AAA) and regular ol' open sandals. Noémie is a travelling merchant, charming and charismatic, definitely doesn't use said charm to emotionally blackmail and trick soft customers into buying her stuff, definitely, trust me im Merchant CEO

that is kinda how it happened, this is an old illustration but it was after I drew this one I kinda thought "ngl they kinda give me the vibes of being into each other here" and then did a test drawing thereafter, and they fit together perfectly!

Need to test this to see for myself

I would prefer pure romance/rom-coms since they never fail to make me smile but other than that maybe fantasy.

Only 8 traditional lesbian romance novels so far this year with an additional ~7 that are primarily in another genre.

I should probably read/listen more to them because they never stop me from smiling even when they cause me to cry.

I wish I had some more with a girl like me in them though 🏳️‍⚧️

Love in Focus - Lyla Lee

A spicy romance book about two Korean American girls in their late 20s falling in love again after breaking up in college. The book had a good story, hot sex scenes and moments that showcased differences in cultural experience between America and Korea
