The exact circumstances aren't of importance I suppose, but the main message basically is that Kaeya is falling in love for the first time despite everyone around him assuming he's already been in love before.

I just drew this without an overarching story in mind cause it was just meant to be for fun, but I think in this context I imagined Kaeya being wed to Childe for something like a political arranged marriage and he's slowly developing feelings and opening up to him.
