The Liberal Democrats aren’t a protest vote — we’re a better local alternative. We listen to residents, manage councils well, and work hard year-round in our wards. Beckenham Town & Copers Cope is no exception. Get involved locally at www.bromleylibdems.org.uk/volunteer

My heart goes out to everyone impacted by the horrific shooting in Bondi. Bondi is a special place to my family and me, and I am deeply saddened that such a tragedy occurred there. My thoughts are with the victims and the community.

It’s Small Business Saturday, and our High Street has so many brilliant shops, cafés and pubs. Thank you to everyone who chooses to shop local and support our Beckenham community.

Popped into the volunteer run Beckenham Repair Café this weekend to get something fixed and saved from landfill. Ended up spending time at the desk watching all the brilliant repairs—and the smiles as people left with working items. Such an awesome community space.

Delighted to meet Matt from Matt Robinson’s Photography today. His street photography in and around Beckenham is both legendary and beautiful. We all keep an eye on his socials to see if we’ve made it into one of his shots! 📸✨

Miserable weather but great conversations with residents today. Got into a few blocks we haven’t visited in a while, residents thanks us for projects we’ve worked on, incl pedestrian safety at Corner Ways Surgery - the junction redesign currently underway by council highways.

Your Lib Dem Councillors and team are out all year round. We hit a big milestone in Beckenham Town & Copers Cope: 3,000 doors knocked on so far this year.

Talking to residents on the doorstep is the best way to stay focused on the issues that matter most to local people. 💛

Well said Ed Davey. This is foreign interference. The BBC isn’t perfect, but those shouting loudest for its demise often have ulterior motives. The hypocrisy and vested interests couldn’t be more obvious. I back the BBC!
The BBC isn't perfect. But it remains an institution defending British values against a populist, Trump-style takeover.

Party leaders must unite to defend it.

It was a honour to lay a wreath of Remembrance today. We remember the service and sacrifice of those that fought for our freedoms.

What a result! Gives a boost to progressives and inclusivity in the US and here. It will be interesting to watch his term.

This afternoon we celebrated the opening of Phase One at Calverley Close, Beckenham.

A resident showed us her new energy-efficient home, which was lovely.

Phases Two & Three still to come in this 10-year project transforming the Riverside community here.
