In the rural US, streaming on Twitch is a no-no. Why? Packet loss.
We know that ISPs in the US are, at best, an oligopoly. No competition, lower ROI, and more maintenance = awful service.
The question is, do rural areas even /deserve/ reliable 'net? Is it a greedy ask, when metro areas do exist?

Streaming on YouTube seems like such an afterthought. I wonder why they didn't think it was necessary to clone some of the core features Twitch offers that makes the experience so great? It feels hollow. If my goal isn't to make a ton of money, YouTube's streaming just isn't as fun.
