Here’s a place I can tell into the void. Don’t mind me.
News on the Ukraine front is unfortunate. Asking Rubio if relations will normalize and he condemns the question, likening it to mean girls… the US has no place demanding peace for Russia with no chips for Ukraine.

Just listened to the latest from Turek about the problem with being gay. It was refreshing that he hardly referenced the Bible. It laid the underlying arguments bare and they’re incredibly weak. Like, basically total nonsense (imo). Might end up ranting about it later…

Spending too much time trying every possible iteration of inputs to figure out why a system isn’t behaving. Rehashing basic concepts to rationalize the error …

To some strawman/extreme, does the rewriting of the federal government’s “way of doing business” negate the usefulness of a law degree? Federal government doing whatever… SCOTUS not likely to be a limiter, or overturning precedent where convenient. Why learn disused law?

Too many people look at politics as an opportunity to troll or just mock the other side. “Biden is old” or “Trump is orange” doesn’t really get to anything of substance.

Saw a post today telling me I could buy peanut butter from NIST! Who wouldn’t love the novelty of that?? NIST PB&J? (Ok, maybe most wouldn’t.) but… apparently it ships on dry ice to store at -20°C… for $1,217. My novelty pockets aren’t that deep

Do people make friends on the internet anymore? Especially since this massive social media platform seems so random and disjoint compared to the forums of old?

“[…] that will yield results in the short term, but is not sustainable in the long term[…]” something to consider as we see Trump increasingly claiming tariffs or other caustic moves. Are we irreplaceable on the international stage or will we encourage trade, diplomacy to exclude an unreliable US?
How are current relations between the U.S. and its Latin American neighbors?
NPR speaks with Maria Fernanda Bozmoski of the Atlantic Council's Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center about the current state of relations between the U.S. and its Latin American neighbors.

Next! The American right has insisted for some time that the media is biased or bad, and I’m seeing the left join in on these attacks a bit. Are we just upset that some stories aren’t given enough attention? What’s the solution, blindly listen to whatever people get upset about on social media?

First shout comes from listening to On Point on @npr.org. What’s the argument for pardoning the violent offenders? If they did an analogous violent act on January 7, would the crime be more valid?

Set up a new social media so I can shout into the void. And so far, this void seems extra liberal which might be a nice change from X and (increasingly) meta.
