Yes! Ask their doctor - many regions offer an early vaccination, as soon as 6 months. If my kids were that young, that’s what I would be doing.

Wise. A Canadian woman was arrested, charged, and jailed in Georgia for driving with a (valid) CDN driver’s license. Officer said that’s not legal (it is). Denied her request to call the consulate. She only got out by paying more than 1000 USD in bail. If one law can be disregarded, any law can.

That’s even more disturbing? Someone went to a lot of effort to create an intentionally misleading photo op. Do they have cocktail glasses stocked in the CECOT kitchen? Quite the premeditation.

You must be so immensely proud of your daughter. If you’ve raised a fair minded child who knows her own worth and stands up for injustice, you’ve succeeded at parenting. I hope the girls get many more opportunities to run together and support each other.

I’m stuck on not being able to legislate how private companies work. Of course you can. Even theUS does, though barely.
Companies are not people, they don’t have rights. People do, however. You can legislate all sorts of protections for people, if you care to.

But jailed by whom? The judges are standing up, but the Trump administration has removed anyone in a position to enforce these rulings. Your government requires your president to follow the Constitution, and he’s blatantly choosing not to. I think the only thing left now is for Congress to impeach.

Fox News isn’t news, it’s designated as ‘entertainment’. They used this as a defense in court to say that no reasonable person expects FOX News to be truthful.

Just one thing - it’s not a tariff. It’s a surcharge on exported electricity. Power tax, maybe, but not a tariff. Important different bc it means the US pays extra, not Ontario.
