Aparently one of the editors, Tom Brevoort, has been REALLY public about his hatred of the character want wanting to "drop a concrete block" on her head.

I find it concerning literaly no one in the editorial, creative team stopped and thought, "Could this be seen as fetishizing sexual assault?" I'm not even saying that was their actual intent. But it comes off that way.

I can appreciate where you're coming from, but not everyone has that mindset/experience with the character. And people who've been assaulted are gonna see this and, frankly, be pretty justifiably pissed.

Every few years, DC and Marvel do something amazingly horrible and act oblivious to it, and the comics community wrings their hands... but keep supporting the comics and writers/artists who pull this shit.
