I had to pee and when heading back slipped and fell, and when I hit the ground started flooding myself. Warmed back up and didn't get caught.

Do diaper yoga for the first few wettings, so it's not too swelled for your pee to flow backwards.
Use the bridge position: holding your butt up slightly, pin the rear waistband to your back, elbows on ground for support.
Do that until all the rear padding is damp. Then wet normally
