Great book launch last night for @tanaudel.bsky.social ’s Queensland gothic novel HONEYEATER with Barbie Robinson at the Book Cow! Loved hearing about the interplay between Kathleen’s visual art and writing, and how much fun the gothic is. How stunning is that cover too 🥀 🪲 🖤 📚

The Australian Ditmar Award ceremony was last night, and I was honoured to receive the nod for Best Novella. Ghost of the Neon God has now won the Australian double (Aurealis and Ditmar). Congrats to all the winners, and a huge thanks to all my readers.
