Also norwegian and i have zero belief in Knutsens ability to replicate his success anywhere but Bodø. Dont think he would be able to do anything close to what hes done there, even in norway, let alone in the premier league

Maybe so. I havent managed any teams let alone in the premier league, so i dont really have an informed opinion. However I do think missing 3 consecutive 5 yrd passes has little to do with the current manager and more to do with players focus. As for patterns- these things do take time

i get that. dont get me wrong, joe is delightful to listen to but he is hardly a football academic (idk anything about your education but suspect you have a degree of some value to the football world). btw, do you keep in touch with alex (surname slips mind)? didnt he take the plunge into analysis?

i think maybe it has something to do with the fact that he was at brentford for 7 years and has had 6 months with us. i suspect these things take time, unless someone can show me a manager who goes straight into jobs, makes it work instantly and stays for 7 years. idt there are many such

agrees on. from chariman to DoF and sporting department, down to manager. That leaves players. Some will fit, some wont. And that process has just begun. That will take time. And as bad as today was, I would take a bad season just for us to stick with an actual plan (i think they have a good one)

as frank said- theres no quick fix for this. squad is the result of losing two wc players and clearout of poch players and starting it without a DoF. Point is, since poch, there hasnt been a clear plan. I think this is the first season since poch that they actually have one clear plan everyone/

realise the ptsd part was a bit convoluted. very short- imo we have become used to having two world class strikers to bail us out. now we dont. and our best attackers have been out all season. we also have the poch trauma- what almost was/could have been. and too much is viewed through that prism/

We've been bad for a while, yet its always the manager who is to blame. There is no way around the fact that these things take time. Hate to mention that lot but look at their prosess and tell me choppimg and changing managers is the way to go.

strongly disagree with this. for over a year our players have highlighted the imbalance and lack of quality in important areas. then some "unknown" player scores a 0.01 xg and its the managers fault. its not. its the players. it was that for ange, its that for frank. thats my take.
