More like 22 players vs 5. Or some subset of like 10-12 (premium position like QB, LT, WR, Edge, CB) vs 3 (star starters). One or two studs changes an NBA franchise. A perfect QB with no skill around him is basically a bust.

Smart is the operative word here.
More or less equal media revenue is huge too. Otherwise you get the MLB version where LA, NY, etc have sooooo much more money and no cap or a soft cap isn't stopping those teams.

1st non-playoff team gets first pick, 2nd non-playoff team gets 2nd pick, etc. Worst team picks mid-round just before the worst playoff team. Reward winning and effort.

Lotteries suck. But the NFL setup has to do with the hard salary cap and media rights that are shared in an equitable way, more than draft capital. Also, you need more than one or two players to field a winning football team, in the NBA your team's fortune can literally require getting one guy.

I've always thought sports leagues could kill tanking by giving the top pick to the first team out of the playoffs, 2nd to the second team out, etc. Reward teams and owners for trying to win, and give the worst teams a mid-round pick. If the owner doesn't like it, do better.

The only place I've heard of this actually happening is in extremely high value real estate like NYC penthouses. That's more of a money laundering thing though and doesn't alter the main housing stock in the slightest.

Too little, too late. Musk still owns 12.8% of the company and his toxicity has destroyed the value. Lawsuits will come from stockholders and owner's who's resale value has been hammered. European's are off the brand, Trump is actively killing alternative fuels in US and China is in a trade war.

Around here is actually where Sanders should be drafted with his skills. The circus around him is what is going to cost him another round or two, if not ending as a UDFA.

I'm hoping for his sake one of KC, Philly or Baltimore pick him late. He could learn something, although I still think his skill set isn't NFL quality. He's just a good college QB with a famous dad and a friend who is an excellent football player and freak athlete.

Milroe is way more intriguing, his ceiling is Hurts/Lamar. Almost all of these QBs are. Sanders ceiling is career backup.
