As a teenager I once encountered rocks on a beach beautifully smoothed and warmly lit. I thought it would make a fantastic PC wallpaper, but I didn't have a camera.
Earlier this year I re-experienced that moment.

We recently stayed near Coningsby and got to see the RAF jets taking off daily.

Weather wasn't super on my side with these, but I still enjoyed practising capturing close ups of these planes in the air.

One of the things I've been trying to practise is getting the right light. I also really like the #HumberBridge. The weather was just right one evening back in autumn to capture the sunset and dusk around the bridge.

Some pictures from a recent trip to St Martin's on the Isles of Scilly. St Martin's is a beautiful and remote 'off island' of the Scilly Isles. It has a tropical feel which feels like it should be in the Mediterranean, not South East England!
