I like Demko. Great goalie…when he’s not injured. But he clearly has a chronic injury and he can’t be relied on. He was supposed to have figured this out and he clearly hasn’t and it’s likely he can’t. His 3x$8.5M, which hasn’t even started yet, is looking like yet another bad deal by Allvin.

Hot take. Canada and Czechia didn’t look like they belonged in a semi final game. How does a team get too many men when they are on the PP. How does a team then negate that penalty on the face off by gloving the puck? Major mistakes everywhere, but ultimately Canada wasn’t ready mentally.

Some real sketchy officiating tonight, but ultimately, Canada wasn’t ready defensively. I have a feeling Sweden is going to own the Czechs tomorrow.
