if you can wake up and find that you’ve become Roger Moore, surely you can also overcome a couple of missiles
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”
Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:
“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

As I’ve seen this confused a few times, please note that Robin Gibb was a much-beloved member of the Bee Gees, whilst Robbie Gibb is the BBC board member who also, totally coincidentally, was editorial adviser in the set-up of GB News.
I know, Bee Gees, GBeebies, a bit confusing…

If you’re suggesting he did a poor job at Bournemouth, ya might want to revisit history.
Saved them from crashing out of the football league and took them to the premier league where they remain today despite his one relegation season. #NUFC

I’m still with the guy who won us a cup, steered us through best part of 2 yrs without a functioning board, & through a disastrous window with a couple of good signings. If EH isn‘t getting a tune after 1-2 years of stability, exec support & consistent strategy, then I might change my mind. #NUFC

There are few days so bad that being in a class with my students doesn't make it better. An amazing, creative bunch of people. I'm discovering that the biggest challenge of teaching isn't giving them skills, it's giving them confidence to see and use their own, vast talents #academicsky #teaching

Who cares if it was a bit messy. We soaked up their press, knackered them out, BDB scored header of the season, and 6th in the UCL. EDDIE HOWE’s 🖤🤍 ARMY #NUFC

Burn‘s been a titan for us lately, playing out of position & probs more games than anyone else. There’s a thousand things wrong with the team ‘ attitude today, but BDB is the least of it #NUFC

What a team this is. And somehow… despite the summer window… we seem to have a first rate squad on the field, and a bench full of first rate subs. Class football this eve. HTL #NUFC

Single parenting + adhd + designing/delivering my first module + admin + finishing PhD = total removal of any social life, exercise, or sanity.
How the feck does anyone juggle an academic job & being a solo mum/dad? INSANE levels of stress. Any advice? #academicsky #adhd #parenting

Woltemade will be a better, more versatile forward than Isak, partly because Isak never understood how much his ability was a function of the squad he was part of #nufc

Keir Starmer says digital ID cards are an ‘enormous opportunity’ and will make it tougher to work illegally - UK politics live
Prime minister says plans for a new digital ID held on people’s phones will become mandatory to prove the right to work
Starmer’s plans envisage ID cards being stored on devices in the same way contactless payment cards or the NHS app are.
The digital ID would be the authoritative proof of identity and residency status in the UK and include name, date of birth, and a photo as well as information on nationality and residency status, reports the PA news agency.
I know working people are worried about the level of illegal migration into this country. A secure border and controlled migration are reasonable demands, and this government is listening and delivering.
Digital ID is an enormous opportunity for the UK. It will make it tougher to work illegally in this country, making our borders more secure. Continue reading...
