Bonus: Many R-Congressmen are under fire, and could really use a win to bring back to their consituents, many of whom are showing up to their townhalls expressing their disdain for these actions. Only a few are needed to support such an effort.

Now is the time for Dems to show that they are ready to stand up for the people, and protect these institutions. Proposing legisltaion that protects these institutions is what the American People want and need. You only need a few Republicans to agree that preserving these systems is valuable.

Reclaiming the narrative is critical for gaining support from the audience. Appearing with handheld US + Ukraine flags would demonstrate unity as a party, and support for global collaboration. The rebuttal must ignore the noise directly from Trump, and remind Americans of our values.
