Very happy to see they feel short of the veto-proof majority.
These alders keep forgetting they work for the people, not corporations.
They shouldn't be throwing us under the bus to project some of the wealthiest companies in Chicago.

Of course, the genocide in Gaza is viewed by some, like the WSJ, as a money making opportunity, which apparently it has no shame in admitting.

I still believe in the promise of Bluesky and having this decentralized social network, but in practice, it doesn't seem to be much better than what Meta is offering unfortunately.

The Lancet has just been incredible lately. Multiple articles about the Gaza genocide and now this.

People need to stop trying to help the ultra wealthy and corporations, and start trying to help their actual neighbors.
The ultra wealthy and corporations aren't looking out for you at all. In many cases, they're actively harming you.

The ceasefire was violated. Over 100 people were killed. This isn't just a "whoopsie daisy".
We can't keep normalizing Israel's violence.
