Old oilman, now new green man.
It's salutary to think that if Epstein was still alive then Trump would now pardon him.

Yes, that rings true.
December 22, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Indeed! Quite sharp eyed of you to pick that up. Although I hardly believe anything printed in the Times.

I've recently been looking at the Independent and find them fairly honest.

FFS Merry Christmas!

I'm very biased being a Labour party member but I just can't see "David Gauke types" wanting to see a Farage government.
December 20, 2025 at 5:12 PM
I've just read your article about Labour looking for conservatives with a social conscience voting to keep Farage out and I have to say it rings true.

Anonymous "influencers" is exactly why we need televised press conferences to hear all the important stuff from the prime source.

It's because he was totally pickled from an early age!

There are too many "journalists" who are really just shit stirrers.
December 18, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Yes it seems it's very much a political policy. Shame, because what is needed is a cheap off peak public network.
December 17, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Well there are two skips in my street!
December 16, 2025 at 11:14 PM
I just love your facts and pragmatism. Labour should take a leaf out of your book.

The problem with an insurance system is that a lot of the funds are eaten up by admin.
December 16, 2025 at 10:23 AM
This is terrific. Do they have a bluesky account?

My stepson lived in Oz for many years. He said the treatment is much better but he was paying about £50 a month insurance. Not sure that would go down all that well in the UK.
December 16, 2025 at 8:58 AM
This rings true but I haven't seen any evidence for it, have you?
December 16, 2025 at 8:46 AM
There really needs to be some form of punishment for newspapers that print lies. Why don't you do something about it with your huge majority. Why are you such an insipid government?
December 13, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Well that's a sight for sore eyes!
December 13, 2025 at 3:46 PM
This is really quite amazing. It shows the Labour Government is just quietly getting on with the job in spite of the BBC et al ignoring their successes.
I really don't understand why literally ALL the media have got it in for this Government.
