Another commission for the same NightWing client who also wanted The Summers of the X-men in one shot. I went more commercial with their images and no real concept but to just get to draw them. But I hope he likes it. Coming to him very soon.

Another blank cover commission done. This was a long time coming with all that I had to do but it’s finally about off to the client. I appreciate his patience. This is the Spiderman of 1555 called HEADLINE created by myself and writer Daniel Kibblesmith with j Jonah Jameson riding the costume.

It’s great to be reminded how much fun I had doing this book. A lot of my works are leaning more digital nowadays. It’s just easier to not have to hoard a ton of paper in the office but I do jump around from digital to hand drawn page work. And that’s the cool thing about progression, right?

Firestorm. The Jason Rusch version. Just turn the ground, Air and his clothes into a kryptonite casing and throw him into the Mariana Trench, clean his hands and turn the rest of that water in that trench into more kryptonite.

Which is why I say he doesn’t understand. You can’t do the far process with movies, tv media, or books. In ANY FORM. What he’ll produce is pretty swill. She he should see what that looks like. Very few people would even buy into it. It’ll fail at launch. What’s the use of fast if it’s terrible?

Wow. Cool of you to say that! Actually I don’t think he’s aware of what comic artists do much less how comics are made. I think I would have coaxed him to see how they’re done first and then work it from there.
