I know a highly educated hedge fund guy who used the word "Marxist" to refer to Dems and sounded like the Rs you describe. I stopped talking to him but wow.

that is what constitutional failure means. Since the document is not self-enforcing, when people don't enforce limits on power, the Constitution is failed. It still looks fine on *paper*, but it is simple parchment barriers now, as Madison alluded to in Fed #48.
