Even better would be to give Medicare, Medicaid and private insurers the legal framework and resources to conduct outreach, provide case management and to initiate involuntary hospitalization for the severely mentally ill who suffer from anosognosia (inability to understand they are ill).

I want a government that protects ALL citizens and endeavors to elevate EVERYONE’S quality of life. I’ll take it a step further and say government should take care of least fortunate FIRST.

America needs a deep conversation about the purpose of government. Our government’s mission is outlined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Anyone who wants a different mission for government should move to a country with that mission.
