I will never not be astonished that such an illiterate, uneducated ignoramus has ever gotten into any kind of position of power, never mind POTUS.

Exact thing I did…. Always go with gut thought….

I don’t know anything about you. I’m commenting on your comment that Reform will become in some way pro EU…. Or at least jump on anti Brexit sentiment. I don’t think they will, hence we disagree.
November 27, 2025 at 10:33 PM
I admire your conviction that a party specifically founded to leave the EU would actively change to pro EU. But we will have to agree to disagree.

They will just find someone else to blame. They don’t fix things, they break them, they sow chaos and division. They are grifters, chancers, Putin puppets.
November 27, 2025 at 9:58 PM
I see absolutely no chance that Farage/Tice would do that. After all they have said/done, no way could they even contemplate it.
November 27, 2025 at 9:52 PM
I see….

Nice one…. How do you get the red?
November 27, 2025 at 9:13 PM
I had previous life advantage here. A rather familiar word.
5 is still getting in there…. A win is what it’s all about….

Enquiries are one thing, and very much required.

Accountability is however something else…. See also countless other scandals, like the Post Office Horizon etc….
November 27, 2025 at 7:02 PM
I’m sure they will get there.

8 years on in UK, nobody at all held to account. An utter scandal.
November 27, 2025 at 3:02 PM
At least HK have started on the path to justice for those poor families, some of whom still don’t know what has become of their loved ones. It’s heartbreaking.

A win is a win…. Start with 5…. How low can you go…. 🍻 weekend here we come….

You are getting who subsidises who wrong. The extra costs are borne in areas that generate the electricity and therefore subsidise the cost of it to be transmitted to where it is sold cheaper.
November 27, 2025 at 10:58 AM
Yes, rural areas in England pay more, but that is also unfair. I don’t think many people would have a problem with equal bills across the country. The unfairness is built into the system.
November 27, 2025 at 10:25 AM
Manchester isn’t rural. Rural areas in Scotland pay more for electricity for ‘transmission costs’ The transmission infrastructure that is paid for by rural areas is used to transmit the electricity generated in the rural area’s south, where they pay a lot less for it. Fair?
