And finally, once the image is open in Preview, using command-i will bring up a totally different info panel than you've seen before, probably. Click on the tab that's named for your camera the image was shot from (in my case Nikon), and there is the shutter count. Yes, mine is very very low.

Then, right-click and open with Preview.

Firstly, go find a RAW photo on your computer. Either export original from your favourite tool or navigate to your camera storage or import it or whatever. Mine looks like this.
