This graph plots a person's age against their percentage chance of shitting their pants.
The graph starts at birth, when the chance of shitting your pants is 100% and then steeply declines as the person ages, until around 21 when experimenting with drinking or other drugs causes a brief surge in the chance of shitting one's pants, then it normalizes and steadily raises until death, when everyone again has a 100% chance of shitting their pants.

Everything is binary & nothing is binary. At individual choice, everything is binary. If you're not faced with a binary decision, you haven't drilled down far enough. At system/tendency/trend, nothing is binary. Every phenomenon creates a gradient. Can only be understood when viewed as a gradient.

My eldest and I are about to finish reading the sixth and final Dune book (Chapterhouse) and we've decided to dive into The Count of Monte Cristo next.

After a bit of research we decided on the Robin Buss translation (unabridged, modern English) and I'm digging the clothbound Penguin Classics book
