While I do not discount the asshattery and the embarrassing/unprecedented nature of this, wouldn't a silver lining be that, as an experienced, smart, ethical defense attorney, this will likely inure to your/your clients' benefit(s) in most circumstances? Unforced P errors, loss of regularity, etc.?

I've been saying this for months. The de-Baathification of the MAGAe when we're in the After times -- particularly the younger generation who grew up on Fox News at home, might makes right, etc. -- is a multi-generational project, if it's even possible. Beyond depressing.

Also don't forget, there is a final, unmodified finding of fact that Trump *did* engage in insurrection. SCOTUS only weighed in on the *remedy*, not anything about factual findings.

There's an (ok) podcast called This Aged Great, basically a Gen Xer who saw the film, and a younger dude who has no idea about it, dunk on/laugh about films like this. Other great examples Porky's, Revenge of the Nerds, etc. "The past was doing its best."

Ken, I am a loyal subscriber, thank you for keeping the faith, but I gotta be honest, I haven't had the stomach to listen to any eps for a while, given the horrific and ridiculous nature or everything. Kinda like not being able to rewatch the West Wing, Dave, or The American President for a while.
