Love all the X Falcons, even the XD. The XC Fairmont had those rectangular headlights which looked great. The X wagon was a magnificent beast.

My father had a 1974 Ford XB Fairmont. Bought brand new from Col Paige Ford Footscray. Metallic green, bucket seats, T-bar auto, aftermarket 8-track player, and with the trademark 'honeycomb' grille. Love the XCs but I reckon XBs are the best. Used as MFP Interceptors in "Mad Max" for good reason.

My father had a 1974 Ford XB Fairmont. Bought brand new from Col Paige Ford Footscray. Metallic green, bucket seats, T-bar auto, aftermarket 8-track player, and with the trademark 'honeycomb' grille. Love the XCs but I reckon XBs are the best. Used as MFP Interceptors in "Mad Max" for good reason.
