Overlooking a lake from above. The photo is exposed so the pine trees and hills surrounding the lake are nearly black. The sky behind the lake is orange, darker at the horizon and becoming more pale above. The water in the lake reflects blue sky above at the bottom right of the photo and begins to reflect the orange towards the middle. Two small islands are on the lake. Steam is rising off the far end of the lake.

Two tangerine/peachy roses and one little rose bud. The leaves on the rose bush are dying, dark spots and sun scorched areas leave one with a longing. The roses are sharp & full of life, not huge but big enough. The background has hedges, other flowers bushes and a vine covered arbour.

I went by the Grand Tetons yesterday and the clouds were just sitting on top of them. I waited in the cold rain hoping for them to lift at Jenny Lake. But to no avail. This was about the best I could do as I drove away at sunset.
