I rely on wording because it's a novel. Everything must be conveyed in words without overloading the reader with unnecessary detail, to allow the reader to use their own imagination to immerse themselves in the story.

A mystery/thriller

Just starting a thriller. I was too engrossed in the new project

Berated myself for not saving hitting ctrl+s regularly and found some chocolate. Went back to it the next day, or a few days later, when the task of redoing it didn't seem so daunting or annoying anymore.
