This is such a strange data point, because this should be glaringly obvious to a ST coach. Especially the backing up, since that only accomplishes reducing space available to the returner… I would love to have this explained from a coaching POV/at least what the intent is, since it isn’t working

I also highly recommend using the chat based LLM tools as a pair programmer. I really enjoy the workflow of bouncing off ideas and then implementing, or using that as a basis for where I really need to go

Had it running in a minute or so on just one market, ~1-2 million rows. Ran it with all markets and it was hitting memory limits and failing. Used Deep Research to pull this apart and find areas for optimization. Now, full dataset was used to build the table in ~45 seconds.

Optimization feels good

What are you hoping to use your lab for? General selfhosting, or more specific use cases/projects?

As an analytics engineer who really enjoys data and the entire technical architecture. Are there any good public databases or open questions that could be a good starting point?

I love learning and doing data science outside of work, I’m curious on how to get started with the field

The person above you was making a joke… about how kids won’t be run over in June because school is out, they will be run over in August when school is back in

It appears you took that at face value and me trying to hint at the joke’s intent, as doubling down on the joke

Fair enough, thanks for elaborating!
