I'm not offended by the statements, but they make me sad. I don't blame Canadians for how they feel. I blame my fellow Americans who have supported the man hurting our relationship with our very fine neighbor.

This whole story is an outrageous display of incompetence and carelessness. It should be taken very seriously.

That said, I have to commend Jeffrey Goldberg for not giving into the temptation of responding to the chat, "new phone. who dis?" I think he handled it better than I might have.

He's been doing a lot of things he can't. And he's going to keep doing them for as long a Republican majority in the other 2 branches keeps protecting him.

Too many are either complicit or spineless.

It would be hilarious in another universe where people didn't listen and become enthralled by it. Unfortunately, in this universe too many can't see that the emperor has no sense.

I've noticed that Michael Cohen gives a lot of insulting nicknames as well. For example, calling his former boss Von ShitzInPantz. Except, he's far better at it. I wonder if Trump heard Cohen doing it a lot when Cohen worked for him, thought it was cool, and tried to copy the habit (badly).
