Tried to do a low heart rate 5km today but ended up running a bit quicker than intended. I suspect my legs didn’t want to spend any longer in the subzero temperatures than they wanted to

First 10km this morning at my new target half marathon pace aiming for start of May. Not much running this week due to a busy schedule but certainly hoping to get back to it over the Christmas period. I suspect many 5kms fuelled by Cadbury’s Heroes

Yesterday was my first leg day at the gym for a few weeks. I’ve been avoiding it in the lead up to the MK Winter Half. I figured the 10 mile weekend runs were enough for them to be dealing with.
Today I most definitely am feeling it. I’ve suddenly been reminded that I am north of 40 😆

Annoyingly my #iphone has developed a bug whereby no matter what the volume setting is, all alerts must be played LOUD

Phew! Some weeks just come at you at speed and give you no choice in the matter. That was certainly one of them but there’s a takeaway and the weekend now within reach
