Imagine you’re just going for a walk then a guy chugging a bottle of maple syrup runs past you
From a Reddit comment on hydration during a run: If the run is greater than 90 minutes, I bring a belt with a 500ml water bottle and a 250ml flask of maple syrup. Every 30 mins I take a small swing of maple syrup and wash it down with some electrolyte drink from the water bottle. I use maple syrup over the more common honey for my glycogen fix because honey has excess fructose that causes GI distress for me (I have Crohn’s). Maple syrup doesn’t cause any GI issues.

Just accidentally ran my personal best mile time on the treadmill while watching the Blazers game! I just did this on a whim, I can’t believe it. There have been times I’ve set out to run a 6 minute mile with a ton of prep and all… but today it just happened 😂
