*nice stones. Looking for the Maryland State Stone but I’m no geologist so I just went for nice smooth stones with pretty colors.

I’m not sure if I had one favorite because each left me with different emotions. Chain-Gang All-Stars was brutal and tense, Victorian Psycho was the most violent book I’ve ever read, The Hike was so fun, I teared up at parts of Exit West and was left wide-eyed and gasping at the end of The Bee Sting

Last book I read this year and 2 that I’m currently reading, which I may finish before the year is out but I’m not rushing it. The Niall Williams book is stunning but I’m reading it slowly because every sentence is literary art. #booksky

Chain-Gang All-Stars was brutal and vivid. All the Colors of the Dark was a rec and I liked it at times but I feel like I lost the plot. I wish I had paid more attention to Orbital, it’s a beautiful book, as is Giovanni’s Room.

Loved The Bee Sting, had to take a breather when I was finished. Rebecca was fantastic and will always be a classic. Open Throat was very strange and I don’t think it was written well. Poor Dear was quintessential unreliable narrator and great.

I got two card decks in the mail today and one immediately was put back in the mail to send to a friend! Thanks Mr. Pants!

Idk why I’m seeing this a day later but I hope you went and had fun cus St. Michael’s is neato (in the limited time I spent there)

I think there’s a brewery or winery or something there now right as you get into town that seemed pretty active
