Based on Steam save file datestamps, I played Umineko during July/August 2024, then had one play session in Dec 2024 and haven't picked it up since. Time to jump back in!

The games selection on Google Play seems dire. Having just played 868-HACK a bit on Steam deck, that kind of bite-sized thinky but not crunchy experience is perfect for mobile, but it feels like the mobile scene has regressed / been commodified by gambling adjacent stuff. Sucks.

I'm grateful that there was a free weekend for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II recently, because I was interested in that game until I played it for 2 hours.
I'm now more confident than ever that I can safely regard any AAA video game story as boring if the "story" is primarily told through cutscenes.
