When I first heard about the change I thought this ‘big league’ for the Champions League was a massive mistake.
When we qualified I thought well it could be interesting.
After tonight I’m converted - Villa have been down & back up the table all night making it really entertaining.

Love transfer windows as loads of Villa fans say ‘just pay the money’ to get in this player or that one (why not both?) only to then complain about ticket prices going up or the price of a pint at half time - do they not get that the two things are connected?

One thing I’ll say about tonight’s game was fair play to all the Brighton fans that came to Villa Park tonight - have seen a lot of teams not taking their allocation this season & it’s a long way back on a Monday night
