'Surely, the cup's clean by now Janey,' says Mark impatiently.
Janine turns the tap on lightly to remove the suds and stares at the trickle.
'I've been sleeping with Rich.'
Mark reaches over to the tap and turns it. The trickle stops. He folds the towel, places it on the worktop and breathes in.
