Today, while walking to the train station in Elizabeth, a guy yelled “maricon” at me from their car window after they nearly hit me while I crossed at a red light. First time I’ve had a homophobic slur hurled at me since the late 1980’s. This, I suppose, is how America is being made “great” again.
