Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

Trump pardoned the sentence of arguably the single biggest drug trafficker in American history on his second day in office!
Trump: "If you notice, every country that has the death penalty has no drug problem. They execute drug dealers. And when you think about it, it's very humane, because every drug dealer on average they say kills at least 500 people ... I don't know if our country is ready for it. I am ready for it."

I owe a huge apology to #msnbc. Like so many, I was a faithful viewer until the night after the election. Your anchors gave me hope and clarity and I was in mourning after such a shocking defeat. However, I am back watching with a vengeance because you are the only network speaking truth to power!
