Went to see @thebeths.bsky.social tonight, the seventh time I've seen them since Mercury Lounge in 2018, always amazing, maybe the best band of the last 8 years.

Today's Sunday daiquiri is with Mount gay, line juice, cold brew coffee syrup, and a touch of creme de banane
Also yesterday I made what I'm sure is not original, but I made what I'll call an "och-aye-tai" which is basically a mai tai with a 1/2 oz of peaty scotch, resulted in a nice smokey version

Of the 1100-plus shows I've gone to, it's a little known opinion that grizzly bear have arguably played top two I've ever seen (the roundhouse in London 2010 and radio city music hall in 2012), an impossible ask to best those in 2025 but they were still amazing again tonight at Brooklyn steel

Loved seeing Air play Moon Safari tonight at Brooklyn Paramount, but even better was the second set including some of my favourites from their Virgin Suicides score
