He lost 3 really consequential Dodgers games in a row in 2024 and then was ineffective for most of 2025.

I've wondered if all the Harper discontent stems from the interview where Middleton bragged that Bryce was underpaid and said he had told him and Scott Boras so.

It has & it hasn't. @letters2aj.bsky.social did a great piece on it which I'll link. The TL:DR would be it has worked great when it's been at the bottom of the order and not when Luis Arraez has done it (he set a career high back in MAY) in the first inning.
