Reading “A Promised Land”. And just the prose. The story. The knowing this man. This person. This human with flaws and earnestness and hope was the leader of our nation less than 10 years ago almost brings me to tears every page. Because I fear we may never go back.

Can we assume the rest of the world sees this as “Trump” and not “America”? We should not presume so. The damage, in many corners of the world, will be lasting.
