There are disturbing parallels with Brexit and the 'will of the people'.

I have heard similar recently that if Reform win the next election it is the 'will of the people' that they enact all their policies, and implicitly any opposition should not be allowed.

That is the face of someone who has *serious* plans for when they find out who is responsible for their neckerchief.

They came close in the Live Uncloaked, with Ed Gamble saying Jessie was the detective of this series, and that another Faithful (can't remember which one, but not Amanda) had come close to her in detective skills. Camera cuts to Amanda looking like she is chewing a wasp.

One of the best things about going to university is the 'culture shock' of meeting people from different areas of the country (and indeed the world).

It is tough that many students can't afford to move away from home when they go to Uni and so miss out on one of the benefits.

A 60 bed care home near us has rooms available 'from' £1,500 per week, whilst recruiting staff at or close to minimum wage.

Do councils get lower rates / use cheaper options? It does seem that there are at least parts of the sector that could afford higher wages for staff.

I don't know about the USA but here in Europe there are now plenty of good alternative EVs to Tesla.
January 1, 2026 at 3:46 PM
It has been at least 5 years since Tesla were going to deliver a C segment (Astra / Golf / Focus) EV at a price and quality that would send all their legacy competitors to the wall.

Maybe implanting a computer into someone's brain is quicker / easier?

I'm disappointed with this Labour government (specifically its approach to immigration) but being told yesterday that they are a far left government destroying the country makes me realise that for some voters reality is a receding dot in the rear view mirror.

We can but hope.

I fear there is a large swathe of 'Reform curious' voters who will miss this / won't join the dots though.

You don't get the same quality of street urchin as you did in the good old days.

Growing up for me was a nightly battle between my Mum's ability to tuck in blankets incredibly tightly and our cat's ability to push me to the point where the slightest weakness in the tuck in would have ended with me on the floor.

That's the face of someone who was not consulted about the changes to the sleeping arrangements, and who would have refused to accept them if they had been consulted.

You are not wrong - this is one of many bloodhound hunts:

The Wessex Bloodhounds are a pack of bloodhounds that hunt human runners who neither wear nor drag any form of scent enhancement. Riders get to follow these hounds over some of the best of the country...

She was amazing, not just as a dancer but also her impact on those around her, teaching her dance partner the importance of teamwork.

The best response is to ask them how many of their foxhounds die of old age. When foxhounds (and horses) are too old to hunt they don't get sent to live on a farm...

Damian (who would have been better named after Dylan the rabbit (except at the vets 👹) ) could move from fast asleep on a bed to licking out an empty bowl of vanilla ice cream so fast you expected to hear a sonic boom (triggered by a simple tink - tink - tink of spoon on bowl).
